did you removed the original flour? is it only plywood??
We put a wooden floor in ours after watching this and found we don’t need the fold up floor with it nice and stable
Hey, whats the circuit breaker for please?
Nice job and thank you for keeping it so simple.only one piece of advice.why dont you put foam around the plywood.😊
If it's sanded and rounded/sanded off thoroughly then there's no need to.
Cuántos metros de tela Y pegamento se necesita para forrar piso de lancha mariner 4
Use silicone plumbing grease, not vaseline. a few bucks at any store that has plumbing parts.
What happens when you take on water. That small boat weights 500 pounds. I love my Intex 3, but it takes a while to get the water out when it fills up. Thanks for the video
wow, this is good
Love going there to see Franky B showing legs
Won’t the staples rust mate?
The staples used will rust , fall off and puncture your boat
I have fished out of my Bali 10 for about five years now. I made quite a few modifications to it to make it better for fishing. Here is a video of the kayak with the mods: ua-cam.com/video/hG0fM5CxvVE/v-deo.html
These M4 are very underrated. I love mine. Just make sure not to over inflate and it will last a long time. I have a 40 lb minn kota on mine and its more than enough to get me to my spots and away from the crowded shores.
Great video! Did you ever install that skeg? And if so, how was it?
I tie the end of my anchor rope to a climbing carabiner and hook my carabiner to the handle on the bow on the Mariner 4. It’s much safer than tieing off to the side of your raft.
It’s not 9 feet long, it’s 129” or 10’ 9” long. Don’t sell the Mariner 4 short my friend.
Thank you so much for this, we'll be doing this to my newly purchased boat
yay austin! nice
To much talking
Can you build a folding solid floor and carpeted for Seahawk 3

Hey Mr. Brewer its me Md from 6D0
Hey nub
Wow....Interesting! Thank you for sharing. I’m new here. I wanted to connect to you I hope you will do the same. Thank you.
My man, NEVER achor from the side of your boat. Youre askin' to be in the soup if things get too choppy. Take it form an ole salty navy Sailor. Either the bow or the stern. No exceptions.
Thanks for pointing that out. I never had to really use the anchor anyway because I'm in really small rivers and lakes. But I'm glad people are chiming in with useful details on how to properly use an anchor.
either your blade is dull of it's the wrong blade to cut this material
How are the staples holding up over time? I'm debating if I should use staples or glue...
Never a problem just maintain them once Ina while might need to staple once Ina while
Glue would def work
@@ummer211 Thanks, Ricky.
rivet gun I think you are talking about
How does the plywood floor handle getting wet constantly?
It doesn't get that wet.had mine for about 4 years Lake George Ny is like the high seas.
Improvise, good thinking good job. Thanks for the info.
Ricky - what motor do you recommend for the Mariner 4?
40lb thrust min mota I bought the 30 but wish I went with the 40
That wood?
Do you know the dimensions of the floor boards?
*Awesome! Great kayak!~~>**share4.photo/sunKayak?hのC** Easy to use and very stable. Just relax and it you will be fine! Make sure you store it upside down. The various attachments are water resistant but not water proof. If you store it right side up water will pool and seep inside. That's easy to take care of. There are 2 drain ports for the inside one at the bow and one at the stern (front and back). Worth every penny. Remember do not drag on pavement of gravel the hull will scratch. Grass is fine.*
*So I don't love it myself~~>**share4.photo/sunKayak?jもE** but my son does, and it's for him. He lives in North Lake Tahoe, and enjoys taking this out on the lake. Since he's almost 6'6" the adjustable footrests are important, and work well. He tows it on a two wheel trailor attached to his bicycle, and says it handes just great, Enjoys the dry compartment as well.*
Amazing
Awesome video
Nice
Hello Mr. Rick, how are you? I'm Brasilian, and live in São Paulo, Brazil. I just bought a mariner 4 boat and plan to put a plywood floor like the one you made for your boat. My question is whether I should use the plywood floor on top of the PVC floor that comes with the boat, or use only the plywood floor for the purpose of reducing weight, as I will use a Phantom 54lbs electric motor. I really enjoyed your video and thank you if you let me know your opinion about it. Best regards, Valter Paifer - bigredbrasil@gmail.com
First place the PVC floor then the plywood floor on top. It will be really heavy but sturdy
@@ummer211 OK, thank you for your attention. Good fishing!
Great video. I’ll go to the Home Depot this winter and change the floor
Floor dimensions
What thickness of wood you use an is that treated plywood
I think it was 1 inch
Show it in the water with the wood floor installed
Sub to me
I like that
I love it! Quick and easy!

im about to buy Mariner 4 but for the floor I will use this www.aliexpress.com/item/Drop-Stitch-High-Pressure-Air-Mat-Floor-For-Inflatable-PVC-Boat-Kayak/32857625142.html They have difrend floor sizes.
Drop thr anchor off the front tie the rope in a big cirle thro tbe w circles should work prefect
Yes there is a nice handle on the boat I could strap itnto
